Dry-lining, plastering, coving, painting
This is a project where dry-lining, plastering, coving and decorating work was undertaken to rebuild a crumbling ceiling and rejuvenate the space.
The ceiling became a health hazard for the occupants, not just because of the bits of plaster falling off, but also the insulation fibers, tiny bits of glass, were no longer sealed in the ceiling.
We took down the old plaster boards and wallpaper, and dry-lined the whole ceiling ready to be plastered. When the coat of plaster dried we began fitting the coving, then painted the ceiling and coving. Finally, we painted the walls in the room and moved in all the furniture, shelves and curtains.
